I cherish your bravery, especially in 2017 when I googled your phone number and noticed your hoarse voice during our conversation. You never revealed your suffering; instead, you wore a strong facade, claiming it was just a sore throat. Your courage was truly unmatched.
I recall the numerous video calls during the Covid pandemic, where you, despite limited speech, enjoyed every moment with our gang of friends. Your famous sweet smiles were iconic.
In 2019, just before Covid struck, SARDANA shared your journey with me, and it broke my heart. Yet, you always wore a brave face during our video calls. The void and sadness you’ve left in my life are immeasurable.
Like everyone else, I salute your unwavering attitude throughout the tough times you endured over the years. Now, as you reside in heaven, my final request to you is this: if God ever decides to take one of us oldies to His place, please act as a proxy, as you were the best at it for me and most of our friends.
